Owls Visit Year One

Our Year 1 class were certainly filled with awe and wonder as the owls came to visit on Monday 30th September 2024.

Year 1 are reading Owl Babies, and they were very excited. As the owls swooped in the hall, the children listened intently to the new facts and key information about owls. The children got first-hand experience holding an owl, as well as knowing more and remembering more about owls. Mrs Coldman was so impressed by the children’s new vocabulary (nocturnal, swoop, owls, talons, feathers) and we are really hoping the children were able to tell you all about it!
