Good morning Year 4,

I hope that you all had a very happy and holy Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate! As we come to the end of the first week of our Summer term, I hope that you are all well and if possible enjoying the sunshine! I have been thinking about you everyday and I am really looking forward to seeing you all again! I really miss your funny stories and happy faces. I have really been enjoying seeing the pictures on twitter so see if you can add to these.

I hope that you have really enjoyed the activities during the first week of our Yorkshire focus. I can't wait to see what you come up with as you are all so creative. The plan for next week is a continuation of our Yorkshire focus but I have added some further ideas and have updated the Power Maths activities.

Remember to take part in the Times Tables Rockstars battle and don't forget to complete the Mathletics tasks.

I hope to see you all very soon, take care of your families!

Bye

Miss Peacey

Dear Year 4

I can't believe that another week has gone by!  I hope that you are all well and looking after yourselves and your families!

Our focus for this week was an opportunity to extend our knowledge about vertebrates and invertebrates.  I hope that you have enjoyed the tasks and have used them as an opportunity to showcase your hard work.  I can't wait to see what you've created!  I am so proud of how hard working you are and that you are using this time to share these learning opportunities with your parents and carers.

I have spent many hours this week looking through your books and seeing the wonderful progress that you have made this year and you should feel really proud of this.  Your home learning is incredibly important in order to continue with this progress. A little bit a day will have huge benefits!  In addition, I have uploaded more pictures onto our school website so have a look out for them.  The ones from the skip dance competition particularly make me smile!

I have been keeping a close eye on Mathletics and Times Tables Rockstars and can see that nearly all of you have been making good use of these resources.  Keep up the good work as it will really help you to continue to make good progress.  On our Home Learning section you will now see a Well Done star; this is to say a big well done to everyone who went on Mathletics last week, earning lots of points.

Please know that I am thinking about you every day and wish that we could be together again.  It is important however, that for the time being, we listen to the advice and stay at home.  Hopefully this won't be for too long!

Take care all of you!

Miss Peacey

smiley Hello Year 4 smiley

I hope that you are all working hard and enjoying this week's home learning. I've been thinking about you all everyday and I know that you will be using this time to show your parents how hard working you are.  I can't wait to see your completed tasks as I know what wonderful work you can produce.

I can see that most of you have completed your Mathletics tasks and have done very well indeed!  Remember to keep going on Times Tables Rockstars as well.  I have already set new challenges on Mathletics which will begin on Monday.

Keep being St Anthony's superstars and I will see you all very soon!

Miss Peacey
