Carol Service

We also hosted our annual Carol Service at school on Monday evening and we were blessed to listen to outstanding performances from members of our Chamber Choir. Our Chamber Choir rehearse weekly and they continue to grow in confidence and stature during each performance. A special thank you must go to Mr Leech (Director of the Schools Singing Programme for the Diocese of Leeds) for his weekly lessons, his wonderful piano playing and his ability to turn potential into talent. We were blessed to have Fr Whitwell in attendance and I must thank him for his beautiful blessing during the service and his spiritual leadership throughout the calendar year. Finally, may I thank the children, parents and parishioners who took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate this occasion. Though we missed the reverence and sanctity of our parish church, those who came together in song made our school hall a beacon of joy and holiness.
