St Anthony's Current Risk Assessments and Outbreak Management Plan for Covid (March 2022)
In line with Government Guidance if you or your child have any of these 3 coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, you must book and have a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test as soon as possible:
· a high temperature
· a new, continuous cough
· you’ve lost your sense of smell or taste or it’s changed
You can order a PCR test kit to be sent to your home or book an appointment at a walk-in or drive-through test site via the following web site https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
If you have symptoms, you and everyone you live with must immediately self-isolate. Do not leave home until you get your test results, except to post a test kit or for a PCR test appointment. Please note rapid lateral flow tests are only for people who do not have symptoms, (they give results in 30 minutes using a devise similar to a pregnancy test). Rapid lateral flow tests should not be used by those showing symptoms and are not recommended for use with children. If a rapid lateral flow tests positive you must immediately self-isolate and book and have a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test as soon as possible.
***In line with guidance, children cannot return to school until they have a negative result from a PCR test. We cannot accept results from lateral flow tests.
Thank you for your continued support in implementing this guidance to help stop the virus spreading.

Curriculum Support in the event of school closure or absence from school
The following links provide additional resources to supplement our curriculum at St Anthony's. In the event of any absence or school closures, St Anthony's will be using Google Classroom to implement their outstanding curriculum. All children and parents have access to this via their own secure log in. Please e-mail email@example.com in September if you have any difficulties accessing this portal. Reception class will use Tapestry and have already logged on using their own personal accounts. Education remains compulsory from September and our full curriculum entitlement will continue for all children. Click the links below if you wish to supplement this, and don't forget to use your child's class page too, filled with more information about our curriculum offer and more age-appropriate links.
